Delivering projects that live up to expectations Business Simulation Workshop

Do your projects produce the change that people really expect? Is business value just about delivering on time and in budget? When it doesn’t hit the spot, do you learn from your mistakes?


Sounds familiar?

Delivering projects is challenging – with time and budget constraints, overloaded project members and having to balance the demands of multiple stakeholders.   Sometimes it is easy to see what you could have done differently, but that’s the beauty of hindsight.


So…… why do this workshop?

    The purpose of any simulation is to let you experiment with reality – without ruining your business! It is not just a game (although people have been known to become quite competitive), it is a self-contained learning experience that recreates a real project environment, and gives participants the opportunity to test new skills and knowledge – and make mistakes.
    It allows participants to turn the clock back and - within a safe and fun environment – to debate actions and options and discover what works and, importantly, what doesn’t.
    It enables participants to know, from the start, what to look out for next time round.

What is it?

Celemi CayenneTM is a challenging board-based business simulation, in which participants have to manage the conflicting demands of time, costs and multiple stakeholders. Working in project teams of 4 – 5, it gives them the opportunity to conceive, implement, monitor and manage project conditions throughout the project lifecycle. It is an energetic and competitive business simulation, and there is always a winner! Throughout the day, we press the pause button on the simulation to allow for participants to identify and discuss how their learning applies to their current projects and what they can do to ensure they live up to everyone’s expectations.
